Oracle Body Jewelry has always been a small independent company. We started out doing trade shows, meeting people face to face, and sharing our handmade work. Even as our product line has grown, we've stayed close to that very same way of doing things personally, carefully, and with a real connection to the materials and the craft. At Oracle Body Jewelry, every piece begins with an idea and with the right materials. We search for distinctive stones, metals, and materials from around the world, choosing them for their beauty, character, and individuality. From cutting and shaping to polishing and finishing, much of our work begins by hand, one piece at a time. At the bench, those materials become original designs created specifically for the body with careful attention to balance, comfort, proportion, and detail. Because natural materials are never alike, each finished piece carries its own variations, patterns, colors, and personality. We're artists, makers, jewelers, and piercers. And everything we create reflects our love for the craft.  Video Ends

Founded in 1999, Oracle Body Jewelry is a small, independent company built around a love of body jewelry, natural materials, and making things a little differently.

For more than 25 years, we’ve grown alongside the industry while staying true to what got us here in the first place: original designs, quality materials, skilled craftsmanship, and jewelry made by people who genuinely love what they do.

We are piercers, makers, and jewelers — and we’re still a small, close-knit crew. Our original jewelry designs are our own.

A great deal of our jewelry is made right here in our studio. For some of our designs, we work alongside a small group of skilled craftspeople around the world who make those pieces specifically for Oracle from our designs. We’ve worked with the same carving team for more than 20 years, and our relationship with them has always been hands-on. Scott regularly works alongside the team in person, developing and refining new designs as well as the shapes and proportions that make our jewelry distinctly Oracle.

We love creating jewelry for people who like to do things a little differently. Thank you for coming along on the ride with us, and we hope you have as much fun wearing our jewelry as we have bringing it to you!

Images of Scott

Scott

Owner and Lapidary / Metalsmith / Pinball Wizard

The man himself came out swinging from Detroit Rock City! Growing up with a stack of National Geographic magazines fostered Scott’s love of tattoos, piercings, jewelry, and cultures from around the world. He got his first tattoo at 13, became a professional piercer at 18, and began carving jewelry in 1997. He later went back to school to further hone his craft, earning a degree in Jewelry and Metalsmithing.

Scott’s eye for design and quality, along with his DIY ethic, continues to shape the jewelry we make today. When he’s not designing or making jewelry, he’s a pinball league champion and repairman, world traveler, collector of body modification antiques, and lover of all things Hello Kitty!

Maggie

Sales / Baking Wizard

Hailing from the Windy City, if you’ve ever been to the APP Expo in Las Vegas, you’ve probably seen Maggie slinging our wares with a dry wit and a smile on her face! When she’s not filling orders and picking out the perfect pairs for you, Maggie spends her time baking delicious treats, examining fine beards, and watching as many cheesy horror movies as she can find. Someday she hopes to have a farm big enough to rescue pigs and chickens and raise an army of Boston Terriers to help her take over the world!

First Piercing: A really crooked lip piercing.
Favorite Food: Pizza rules everything around me. (P.R.E.A.M.)
Favorite Bands: William Elliott Whitmore / Sleep
Favorite Tattoo: The Death Moth on my leg. I just think it’s pretty!
Favorite Stone: Labradorite.
Favorite OBJ Design: The Minya! It’s the perfect amount of classy mixed with the right amount of ratchet!
