Conversion and Measurement Charts

Body jewelry sizing can vary slightly by material, style, and individual piece. Use the chart below as a general guide. When measurements are provided on an individual product page, those measurements should be used for that specific piece.
How to Measure Body JewelryUse the illustrations below as a guide for measuring plugs, labrets, and other body jewelry styles. |
Double Flare Plugs
Measure the wearable area between the two flares. Overall length is measured from end to end, and flare diameter is measured across the widest part of the flare.
Single Flare Plugs
Measure the wearable area between the base of the head and the O-ring groove. Overall length is measured end to end. The gauge is the thickness of the wearable area.
Pinchers
The gauge is measured from the middle of the pincher. The diameter is measured across the inside of the pincher, not the outside.
Labrets
The wearable area is measured from the front of the labret to the interior of the wings. The gauge is the thickness of the front area that is worn through the lip.
