• About- Emerald is the green to bluish-green variety of beryl, the same mineral family that includes aquamarine and morganite. Its distinctive green color is created primarily by trace amounts of chromium and/or vanadium within the stone. Natural emerald commonly contains visible inclusions, which are part of the character of the material and have traditionally been referred to as its jardin, French for “garden.” Because these inclusions occur naturally during the formation of the stone, each pair can vary in color, pattern, and appearance, making every pair unique.
