Burmese Metal Rolled Palm Plugs

• Location- Myanmar (Burma) 

• Estimated Age- Early to 20th century

• These are about 19mm and about 29mm long. 

• Very rare pieces that we've only ever seen twice. These unique metal pieces are meant to resemble rolled palm leaves and would most likely be worn in weddings or other celebrations. These feature ornamental stamping on each piece with string tied around. The rolled palm leaves represent the loose leaf material used for manuscripts and writing materials.
